DOCTOR WHO! I'd forgotten about that show. I watched a few episodes a couple of years ago (2005/2006ish, I think), and I really liked it. But I think it was on monday nights and I was was rarely home when it was on, so I never really got into it.
CBC's going to air series four this fall (finally, according to some sci-fi forum people). Will I be confused if I try to watch it?
It might actually be a bit confusing but I'd watch it whenever possible so you should tune in. Although they have all the episodes on YouTube, if you don't mind watching pixilated shows. I watched the first two seasons on my sister's itunes and I bought the third and watched the fourth on YouTube.
I think you should try to watch some because it's great even when you dont't know what's going on. It's fabulous because it manages to be absolutely brilliant without any like, cursing, violence, etc. that's on TV nowadays. It's just extremely good.
I might try YouTube. I watched the entire second season of Heroes on Youku, so I got used to the pixilated thing. But even if I don't, I think I'll still watch series four when it airs; it's on friday night and I'm rarely out on friday nights.
I also love Heroes, and VM, of course. I think Veronica Mars is quite possibly my favourite show ever.
Gilmore Girls was my first televion obsession. When I was in high school, I took a lot of ballet classes, so I wasn't home a lot in the evenings when all the good tv was on, but Gilmore Girls was the one show that I consistently had to watch every week, even if I had to record it for entire seasons. I watched The O.C. when it was new and good and the first season remains among my favourite shows, even if it got really crappy after that. There's also Reunion, which was an awesome mystery show that got cancelled before they even finished the first season. And I really liked American Dreams. I think I have a weakness for shows set in the past (since I've also been watching Mad Men lately
( ... )
Woo, I liked The OC at first and then it sucked, oh well. I don't usually watch actual TV I just buy shows, so I usually miss alot of good stuff. VM definitely ranks very high on the list, but I just finished watching Doctor Who so I'm a bit obsessed at the moment.
You watched the second season of Heroes on Youku? I watched it on the CBS site...hmm...I watched all of Gossip Girl on Youku. Speaking of have you seen Gossip Girl? It was created by the smae guy who created The OC, and although at times it's really annoying and pretentious, it's actually quite good. Plus, KB voic, YAY!
Anyway, it's good to have someone to talk about TV to, because I'm stuck with my family all summer and they don't really care.
