OKAY SO here's a crazy story: I wanted to get a game for break to play from GameFly because I've got nothing but my trusty Grandpa PS2 at uni. Sent a game back on Friday, new game shipped Saturday, so I figured I'd get get it on Monday and have the whole week to play it. YES? NO. I didn't get it until Friday, so I spent all of Saturday marathoning

See see. Told you it was amazing. I cried at a couple of the memory items but the main story was just depressing.

How about those breaking weapons? I swear I broke at least 4 crossbows.

THAT ACTUALLY WASN'T TOO BAD? I made a habit of carrying 2 weapons on me at all times just in case. It only became an issue in the maze bit near the end of the game because both my weapons broke one time and I had to go all the way back to the bonfire in the central hub area. :E

I didn't use any of the ranged weapon until literally right near the end. I think I first tried it out when Seto was climbing down the outside of the dam because I could not handle those stupid crows anymore goddamn.

But my first crossbow broke while I was using a spear! Then the next one broke mid battle with the demolition machine. Then the last one broke after beating Shin the first time and the second time it was my long bow. I didn't have much problem until then either. But hey that sewer level fun right? Running down a straight hallway. forever. then climbing straight down. forever.

Those goddamn birds everywhere. The most annoying enemy in the game.

So. so. Did you find a character you want to play?

WAIT HOW DID IT BREAK WHILE YOU WERE USING SOMETHING ELSE? And THAT LADDER WAS THE WORST OH MY GOD I wanted Sai to like... knock him off the ladder because FALLING WOULD BE FASTER. There's a really long staircase in Silent Hill 2 that has lots of symbolism but I think that ladder just symbolised AUUUGH

IF I HAD TO PICK ONE IT WOULD BE CHIYO but I just recently decided to try and pick up Henry from SH4 so I want to see how that goes first. B|a although he's not going to any game. Are you still gonna try and play PF at Gargleblasted?

... should I buy this? My Wii is just collecting dust forever and I've heard good stuff about this game everywhere (and it's under £20 now). Then again, if I bring it back after Xmas I'll be dumping it in Alex's flat cos I have no TV. orz

I kind of wanted to buy it after I'd finished it, so I'd say go for it if a really story-driven adventure game with a horror game motif sounds like your kind of thing. Unless Alex eats Wii games or something. B|a
