I'm only about three hours in, but personally I think the mirror control makes it scarier. Scarier in the way of "holy shiiiit you want me to check ALL these rooms..twice? You're not even going to direct when I can/can't? THAT'S UP TO ME TO FIGURE OUT? AAAAH!"
Also, the Sanitarium "Good" world? About as freaky as the Otherworld. So. I never got that "finally, a break!" feeling ;_; Which is good, I guess...but only in retrospect.
Yeah, the Sanitarium level I definitely liked. That was the scariest one. XD I guess I just didn't find it as scary as the other Silent Hills, but I might just be jaded because I play them like... all the time.
Aye, my journal layout has a Fatal Frame II: The Crimson Butterfly theme right now. It's a survival-horror video game for Playstation 2 and XBOX where you use a camera to fight off ghosts.

So, I love your portrayl of Ulquiorra on tegaki and I saw you on capslock_bleach. From your interests, we actually have quite a bit in common. Would you like to be friends?
I'm glad you like my Ulquiorra. I always try hard to stay IC but he's kind of a tough character to use (and not kill every conversation.) <3 Are you on Tegaki as someone?
And I know how that goes as I have an OC that is extremely comparable to Ulquiorra. Its pretty funny, in that really sad/pathetic kinda way, lol. But no, I don't really have a character I draw specifically over there. Most of my favorite characters are already taken. :'(
