Some are sharpened, some I play around with (i.e. the second flowers), and some are as they are.
Thank you, Justin.
I'm not; they make good props is all. The point of that whole picture was just to get the combination of light that forms in my room in the morning and how the yellow bounce off the walls, the comforter, the shade, and the golden sheets.
They're starting this new online magazine that deals with video games, but from a business, "Wall Street Journal" point of view - i.e., no cheat codes or any of that business, but more focused on product release, stocks, insider information, etc. I don't know crap about video games, but I got in touch with them through my roommate and they liked my audition pieces (a couple of straight-news articles) plus my experience as an editor, and the fact that I've been involved since the beginning, so basically I've been made kind of like a member of the nonexistant board. Meaning that, if this thing takes off (for now it just covers Spain, but there's a planned expansion to have UK, German and French versions by 2007), I get something like 10% of the eventual profits and editorial recognition; if it doesn't, it still looks like gold on my resume and I get to count it as internship credits for the uni. So one way or another it's a fairly great deal. For now though, I'm heading the news division and managing articles that have to be written

Actually, now that you've put me on that train of thought, do you know what I really really really love love love? The lighting when there's a seriously strong rainstorm in Miami. Like the sort that just unleash, and make noise within the house drumming on the roof tiles and make conversations in the covered areas outside turn into shouting matches? Well, I mean in particular the time right before the storm, and even when the wind starts to whip a bit, and the sky goes almost black even though its during the day, and the greens in the trees go into a much deeper shade, almost anticipating that they're going to be drenched into stronger hues within a few moments. That, I love. Europe, with all its wonders, totally lags behind in that sense; there's nothing like the tropics for a glorious rainstorm.
In theory, we shall be spending it in the heart of our happy home in Miami, working and so forth. In practice, however, as no dates have yet been set, do to an ill professor who is cunningly avoiding concretely determining the day on which we are to be benignly tested, it is quite the enigma. I understand I shall be missing you altogether, though, apparently?

And marvelous pictures, Aitor.
And you are obsessed with your feet.
And I am surprisingly exhausted.
