Actually, now that you've put me on that train of thought, do you know what I really really really love love love? The lighting when there's a seriously strong rainstorm in Miami. Like the sort that just unleash, and make noise within the house drumming on the roof tiles and make conversations in the covered areas outside turn into shouting matches? Well, I mean in particular the time right before the storm, and even when the wind starts to whip a bit, and the sky goes almost black even though its during the day, and the greens in the trees go into a much deeper shade, almost anticipating that they're going to be drenched into stronger hues within a few moments. That, I love. Europe, with all its wonders, totally lags behind in that sense; there's nothing like the tropics for a glorious rainstorm.
