Wasn't bad entertainment for a vote about a contained recorded form, I thought. Australia is in love with Jeff Buckley and that's OK.

I've got ones that I've flogged the hell out of, and heck, while some of those in that category made it fairly high, like OK Computer, Achtung Baby, Eternal Nightcap and 10-1, but if I was forced to make a choice it'd be completely arbitrary and the ones that I would've picked mightn't been on the list.
But as you've found, the albums people picked by a particular artist aren't particularly the best by them; take the bluffer's choice of Tubular Bells for Mike Oldfield - as you know I can think of about four or five better albums by him, including TB III, for crying out loud, but the original is the one people associate with their first shag or first bong hit or whatever so that's the one that gets picked as their "favourite".

I have a list of my favourite albums here:

Knowing that none of them had any chance of appearing on the ABC list, I didn't even bother to vote. :-)

When I saw that Amanda owned a copy of "Graceland", which I'd been meaning to buy for ages, I knew she was the gal for me. :-)
