This time of year again already?

I can't believe I started my third year of college yesterday. I seriously don't know where the summer went. I guess time flies when you're having fun--because even though I was working two jobs and running around like crazy, for the most part I had a lot of fun this summer. My work friends and I (one in particular) had a blast, even though I could ( Read more... )

Hey Shelli, how are you? Sounds like you had a crazy Summer! And good luck for your new school year. It seems so strange to me you all starting now, when I was at Uni, I didn't go back until October!

Hi Tracie, I'm good! My second day went a lot better. I did have a crazy summer, but I did have some downtime. Lots of swimming and reading fanfiction. ^_^

Thanks! I'm gonna need it. Wow! October! When did you all get out for the summer? Here in the US start times depend on where you are--I know on the east coast colleges don't usually start until the middle of September, but here in the South/Midwest, we start the last part of August. So it's still 100 degrees when we start back.

I was planning to tell you, I posted another story, a tag to "Strawberries and Cream." It's called scarlet stained hands, and is posted on ff.net. I may post it on here, as well, and I might join Paint it Red and post it on there. :)

I hope you're doing well :) Sorry, long reply!

I'm glad your second day was better.

We got out of Uni late June. Usually a few days before my early July birthday, which was always good. My Uni was always one of the latest to finish and start up again though.

Aw, awesome. I was meaning to tell you that The Mentalist Big Bang has started over on livejournal. There's also a Mini Bang which has a much shorter word requirement, if that's more to your taste. The community is mentalist_bb - it'd be good to see you in some capacity :-)

BIRTHDAY. BIRTHDAY. BIRTHDAY. (Obviously, I'm excited for your birthday for so many different reasons!) I seriously can't believe our summer just went by so fast, and the school year is going to go by even slower. :P (Is it Winter vacation yet?) Oddly enough, one of my friends on FB has already started the countdown. :P

TM. TM. TM. I'm SO excited!

Hopefully, your semester will go good! I'll talk to you later! <3

What many different reasons? Am I forgetting any?

I know honors is going to drag on and on, not least because it's my last class of the day and is from 3:30-4:45. :P

I already know when the last day of classes is: Monday, December 5. And I'll be done with pretty much everything by then. I don't think I'll have any actual final tests--just papers--but I haven't gotten the syllabus for one class yet, so we'll see.

We've had this discussion. I can't tell you, for it ruins the large surprise. :D

It will drag on, but you'll eventually be done and be happy about it. (Besides, you're getting money for being in honors. I'd gladly take honors if I was getting money. :P)

I have exams the third week of December. :P The university here is getting a little stingier with their vacations. :P

Hey, Shelli! I totally agree about summer just zipping right by... doesn't seem like it's already time for school to start! Good luck this year! I'm sure you'll kick those honor classes in the butt. ;)

And epic hoorays for all three of those shows (though I still need to finish watching Castle) returning! :D

Thank you, Autumn! What grade will you be in? (You're still in high school, I'm thinking?) Enjoy the easier classes while they last!

I can't wait for those three to return, even though I never got to see the last three episodes of NCIS. I was working when they originally broadcast, and I never could get them to fully buffer on CBS' website. (Any suggestions?)

Yep, still in high school! This is my last year, however - it feels so weird to be a senior! Exciting, though. :)

Oh, really? Hm... that's odd. The only alternative I can think of is downloading the episodes online somewhere and watching them on your computer. :3
