So the big news around here is that the Livonia schools get a snow day tomorrow. Which they decided the night before, sometime before 10 o'clock. Would GVSU cancel school for this amount of weather? psh, don't be silly.

We took a trip to the beach last night, and it was fantastic. Lots of ice and snow and frozen sand and dark, dark water. I would highly recommend going if you happen to be bored late at night. So tonight Tom Deluca (a hypnotist) came to Grand Valley. And ohhhh my goodness, it was a wonderfully entertaining show. Please remind me to attend again next year.

We found the venue with very little mis-adventure, but just enough to discover that it's about a block away from the one other place we've ever seen a show in Lansing. Small world.
