Superintended just left. Doorknob is replaced and door is back up. Fridge and pantry are restocked with food, not that I expect to be locked in again anytime soon.

1. Finish draft for essay on Poe's poetics.
2. Drop by bookstore; check if copy of Focault's Pendulum has come in.
