In lieu of a recent band experience, and countless other musical ones in the past, I have decided to make a classification system for music stands. This is to benefit musicians such as myself, Beth, Corey, Anne, and anyone else who plays an instrument.

The Music Stand Classification System (or "MUSCS").

I HATE the Sliding-Down Stand!!!!!!!!!! That has to be the worse one! And you don't even realize it until it is too late!!!

I understand completely Alice. Wonderful documentation of the various music stands we percussionists tend to come across. I was quite amused. (And even laughing out loud at some parts. Ah, the memories...)

In my preemptive defense, I would never beat a percussionist over the head with my flute. A large stick, maybe, but not my flute. Besides, I never had the "lovely flute solo" so it's a moot point.
