I like 1-3, would like 11 if it weren't for the second picture, which scares me, and actually I think it would work better text wise without it, and 15 is just un-grainy enough to meet my approval. =) Apparently the grainyness is a new trend for me to dislike, but it doesn't really come up in my main icon coms (which focus on the exact opposite.) 7 is just the tiniest bit too dark on my screen but otherwise not bad. In 13, are you repeating part of the same image? It feels kinda....well, useless - like the space could have been better used, you know? Text is best on 11 and 15, I think, and the graininess is least effective on 12 (which looks very dusty indeed, and you know, I feel this takes away from potential beauty of the icon...) Combining of images is most effective in 8, I think, and least in 14 (which makes it look like she's sprouting a second self on her shoulder imo). But obviously I feel very strongly about some of these trend things that you're into, very strongly about simplicity > complexity, so don't take my ( ... )

there is no 16 - which is probably why you cant see it - thanks for the crit! I love it. however i really wasnt finished with this post - still got a bunch more icons to add to it - i was just rushed - so come back in a little while to hand out more of your wonderful crit at which time i shall respond more thouroughly to it. ;)

Okay, lets see...I like 5 & 6 of the lost ones, and the text is good on 2. A lot of them look a tad too washed out and faded for me, 3 in paticular. I like the text on 9 of the Fifth Element ones, but the girl (?) has frightened me away from commenting on the rest. =) 1, 11, and 12 are my favorites of the Big Fish ones, and I like all of the "random celebrities" ones except the last. Okay? I don't think the repeating images like this:

Where was this cross posted? Just wondering if it was at an icon rating site or something.... you sure are getting some detailed feedback...

From one icon maker to another, I think these are pretty cool. Different from my style, but I appreciate where you're going with them.

Oh, and thanks for managing to wrap all of my favorite movies into one giant post of awesomeness. Nice work!

Oh I just cross posted it to fireflyfans and ff_icons - mercury_phoenix is just a personal friend who knows this if she doesnt give me detailed feedback I wont give her detailed feedback and then neither of us are happy ;) Thanks for commenting!

umm wow! I liked alot of then. Love the 5th element ones! I took a few of those and 1 from bladerunner will credit when I use them!!
