My Christmas spirit is definetly at an all-time low this year for whatever reason. Maybe it's just because I'm getting older and more jaded or whatever but it makes me sad that I'm not getting all excited about it the way I did when I was 8. At least I'm getting my iPod tonight...materialism=bad but damn do I want that iPod

I know what you mean about the lack of christmas spirit this year. I can't even believe it's in two days. My bah humbug-ness is probably mostly due to the fact that our celebrating is on crack this year. We ate "christmas dinner" last weekend and are celebrating tonight with my mom's bf, and she's INSISTING that I open most of my presents so that we don't have to haul them to Indiana. Basically I can't help but buy into the materialism, because that's all I really have this year.
That's sweet about the ipod. I'm getting a Toshiba knockoff thing that I'm pretty excited about.
