My Christmas spirit is definetly at an all-time low this year for whatever reason. Maybe it's just because I'm getting older and more jaded or whatever but it makes me sad that I'm not getting all excited about it the way I did when I was 8. At least I'm getting my iPod tonight...materialism=bad but damn do I want that iPod.
we're leaving for New York and surrounding areas at some ungodly hour tommorow morning. It'll be nice to see my family and go to D.C. for the first time (we're staying with my aunt, taking a train there, staying for like two days and then going back to my aunt's...right...). And I still need to pack and clean my room and whatall. And I have some homework that I should get started on because I probably won't have another chance to do it. What an awesome first day of break. I sort of wanted to go visit Charlotte in strange range because I feel bad about leaving her...but I don't know if I'll have time...
At any rate, we didn't do anything in school yesterday, per usual, besides watch some really crack-ass movie in Quiz Bowl and eat ridiculous amounts of junk food. And I said goodbye to Zac like five times after practice because my mom was late picking me up and we kept running into each other in the ski lodge.
bleh. well i think i'm going to go spend some quality time with my drumset before i leave her for a week *sniff* merry christmas everyone, i love you, hopefully i'll talk to you when i get back.
