I am listening to #1 daughter practicing her flute in preparation for her annual audition for her college band. We take her back to school tomorrow, so it will be a while until I can hear her practice again. During the school year, I get nostalgic for her playing so I have to stick in the one song of her playing her solo from her senior year in

We're ordering season 7 soon. I just don't know what I'll do when Voyager is over, as hte other treks somehow never had much appeal.
I've probably got too much in common with Janeway or something. :D

I love Death Wish, anything that stirs up the Q Chakotay rivallry always makes me grin.
I have them all on DVD too, so I canrewind and repeat, or skip over the borg if I need to.
Oh! I meant to tell you. there are quite a few virtual voyager seasons out there that follow on from season 7, sort of a "make it all better" situation.
I'll get the URL's to you when I'm not wrapped in a bath towel with grocery shopping and vacuuming to do... and people arriving in 2 hours. *dies*
Oh and there's another one I thought you might enjoy... It's an AU called Enemy of my Enemy. Long and enjoyable.
Again, URLs... yeah. (Tired, can't you tell?)

See normally, Tammy, at this stage the college students are so snarky and obnixious that you can't wait to get them out the door. You're too good a mother - it's your fault. You produced a lovely child and are now paying the cost. (Everything is a mother's fault anyway...)
I send you a big hug. You are a wonderful woman with a great heart. Remember, daughters and mothers - nothing can be better (or worse...) To have a good cry and get it out of your system rent, "Truly, Madly, Deeply." It's like emotional laxative (ugh - wretched analogy I know, but trust me.)
Love,
Sarah

My daughter is a really nice young woman. I think the two of you would enjoy each other.
Thanks for the hug. I'll shed a tear tonight when we get home and tomorrow when I walk pass her empty room. It will take me a few days to acclimate to not having her right here. Thank goodness for email, Messenger, and cell phones. Back in my day, all we had was letters and expensive phone calls.
Well, I am going to visit with #1 daughter now. I'll write when I get home.
Thanks for your support.
