So all four of them, Christian, Jillian, Chris and Rami, showed at Bryant Park? I thought there was to be a contest before Fashinon Week and they would decide between Chris and Rami. Interesting. But to quote the Highlander, "There can be only one" and I think Christian will walk away with it.
Actually, Sweet P showed as well. So, Either Chris or Rami get eliminated on the show before fashion week. So it's three for real and two decoys...
Honestly, I think Christian is the strongest contender for the win as well. I think that Chris's collection has a ton more editorial value than Rami's and that Rami will be eliminated.
Actually, having worked in a museum before I can tell you exactly why they used those wings. Copyright.
The pieces in the greek and egyptian wings are from thousands of years ago and the European wing is at least 400 years old or more. There's no chance that they would infringe on copyright by using any of those pieces on television or by taking photographs of them. There was no way they could have gone to the contemporary wings because there's no photography allowed, and they would have had to blur out any images that were not used and pay for every instance of the 5 images that they did use... It was cost effective and legally easier to go ancient and medieval.
For Uli's stuff you can check either on the bravotv.com site for season 3 or on nymag.com for the final collection.
Totally. He said himself that it felt like catch-22 for him. Though, if he didn't do something that was draped, or if he did something that was completely different they might say it was coming out of left field. But he could have budged at least an inch or so...
