And if you notice, none of that last section about the greatest good is very pagan-ish, is it? Most pagan beliefs (if I may be so bold) deal with duality (Wicca certainly does), whereas the above talks about only one God. Judaeo-Christian belief describes the One God as all good, and therefore they had to create the devil to represent evil, and there's your duality again... I'm not sure what your personal beliefs are, but it's not surprising that Sefer Yezirah would take the viewpoint of a male, all powerful, all good, God. Among the Celtic pantheon, the 'gods' are no different than humans, except they live in the 'other world' and have some powers. Some of them are good and some of them aren't... As for me, I have never been able to figure out what use Kabalah would be to someone in figuring out the meaning of life, or how to deal with being alive on this plane.
It probably didn't help that I totally misspelled it when I was asking you the first time. I was guessing that it was Tav, Aleph, Vav, Samekh, when it was Tet, Vav, Vav, Samekh. :P Shows how well I know Hebrew!
And what's up with Tet and Tav both being "T" sounds. I don't get it.
*G* Yeah, well, they also have kaf and kof... *s* Same sound. And two silent letters, aleph and ayin.... but then again, English has two k sounds, right? *S*
