pretty hands do pretty things when pretty times arise

Because a) I'm a masochist, b) I find writing challenges hard to resist and c) I crumble under peer pressure, I have signed up to love_bingo. Because when I'm spending all my spare time with plot bunnies eating my brain, what I obviously need is more of them! (I am doing so much writing at the moment! Actually finishing all the things I'm working on... not ( Read more... )

Ooh... hmm! What pairings do you want to write? Or does it matter? Because I can think of prompts for nearly any combination of White Collar characters ( ... )

Now here are some for our Fallen London 'verse:

Mile High Club - in New Newgate Prison! (It's probably not a mile above the city, but it's pretty high.) Or on a dirigible! Going for the gennest possible version of the prompts, possibly stealing something from a dirigible and/or trying not to get killed in the prison.

Honeymoon - the one that INSTANTLY came to mind here is Peter and El going off somewhere in the Neath for a little alone time and things going disastrously wrong in a Neal-involving kind of way. (Or maybe not - maybe things go disastrously wrong in a not at all Neal-related way and Neal has to rescue them!)

True Love - Neal looking for Kate in the Neath.

... okay, it's actually way harder coming up with Fallen London ideas for these than I thought it was going to be.

Have you seen the opp card where you carry out a dirigible heist to break someone from New Newgate? :D

Love the Peter&El one. Oh dear XD

It seems like I should be able to fit quite a few of these to the Neath, given the Bazaar's obsession with love... hmm.

I think "Diamond" is a very White Collar thing. And diamonds are USEFUL! For getting out of kidnap situations and suchlike *gg*

Heh, I should sign up for this one just to be ironic and weird with it. (Sweet Nothings, in which Peter goes to give El a box of chocolates, only to discover that someone *cough*Mozzie*cough* has taken a bite out of each one to make sure they're not drugged because you can't trust those big chocolate corporations not to drug and make you want more chocolate, which makes no sense but, hey, it's Mozzie ( ... )

due to a desperate attempt to keep an under cover operation from going belly-up, Peter and Mozzie have to pretend to be married

... ahahahaha, this prompt is BRILLIANT. *wants* (Neal and El would be DYING.)

I like the idea of doing the whole entire slate of prompts platonically, just for the challenge of it! (Even prompts like "boyfriend & girlfriend", there's always Mozzie and his taxicab ...)

That's why I'm almost kind of tempted to participate in this one. I love a challenge :D

Yes! Or True Love - Mozzie and Russian surplus :D

I'm guessing there's room for some family/friendship love in there amongst the pairings?

Grief - Neal after Kate dies, Neal after Ellen dies are obvious ones, and there's also June mourning Byron, but how about Mozzie mourning Neal's decision at the end of Countdown (brotherly love), or a future fic where Neal etc mourn June?

True love - Mozzie and the treasure?! Or a character has a secret love for a certain kind of food, that borders on true love? *might be slightly cracked* Actually, a secret love for sweet food might fit Sweet Nothings too.

Baby - future fic/AU where someone has/adopts a kid (paternal/maternal love)? The idea of Neal and/or Mozzie as babysitters amuses me. Is also wondering what Grandma June teaches her grandkids! :)

It's me, I'd say that's a given :P

Ooh, how about June has one of her very tiny grandkids/great-grandkids staying with her and Neal absolutely ADORES them and ends up doing a load of babysitting?
