I'm also from CA (but don't go to school here -- just home for the summer), love Jacksonville, and am a big P/O shipper.
I'm not homophobic but I do consider myself fairly religious, although I tend to be fairly progressive on most social issues. Occasionally God will come up in my posts but usually it's just boring every-day college-student stuff and then the occasional Fringe post (it's the only show I'm really into these days). I've never had a problem with people who aren't religious though both in RL and on my LJ, so just let me know if you think it might bother you -- if so, no worries!
