The problem with forgiving and forgetting is that you never actual forget.

I am what I am. I'm not perfect and I shouldn't have to apologize for that.

last night something happened to me that hasn't happened since  I was a little girl. I had a terrible nightmare... not a scary dream, those I have often, but an actual nightmare. I wish Abraham Lincoln, Harriet Beecher-Stowe, Frederick Douglas, and others like them were here to see this. Only 143 years after slavery was abolished, a black man is elected president of the United States of America. I feel immense pride for America's decision.  So tonight I went to the McDonalds in Elmont and while I was waiting for my food, I noticed a clipboard that had a form attached to it sitting right on the counter.
