That's great news about your housing! Do you know yet where you'll more in, and when?

As mentioned elsewhere on this comm, I'm taking the view 'no time like the present,' on arranging for the end of my life. It's no more likely to happen today for me than it is for anybody else, so I'm making the arrangements when I don't feel scared and when the people who *would* have been entitled to take charge of me aren't yet doing so. I was losing sleep over the idea that those particular people would be entitled to do that. So I hired a solicitor, spent some time and surprisingly little money, and ended up with legal documents to protect me. Now I've a team of good, trustworthy people who'll step in when necessary.

When I've gone, I don't suppose anybody will care about my underwear but they'll care about whatever remains in my bank account. And they'll care about their memories of me. I hope my kindness and my scientific contributions will be remembered for a while.

Sounds like you stubbornly refuse to fit into categories that others have written! Bad Crip ;-) Anyway, I wish you well as your new home becomes real.
