I was interested to note that today's Sali Hughes column has the start of a good discussion about the Bad Science of cosmetics advertising, what "chemical-free" means and how seriously (or not) women are taken as consumer. Wow. DC Comics has supported a range of Batman/Wonder Woman/Gotham-themed designer jewelry aimed at the laydeez, created by nOir (famous clients apparently including Gaga, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Madonna, etc usual suspects).

Check out the Gotham City Ring! How about a dangerous CatWoman Claw? Or a Wonder Woman necklace?

OK, despite a bit of nonsense, the weekend has in fact gone pretty well. My laptop has been acting rather oddly since I got it back, which does dampen my enthusiasm for Apple's otherwise excellent customer care somewhat.
