DE is very nice, very soothing; not as 'fizzy' as old-style ballistics, and dissolves very slowly indeed. Starts crackling towards the end, and then glorious but not overpowering golden glitter. A really good experience. Smells delicious too.

I'm surprised with your sensitive skin and allergies you can use such highly fragranced products - I find most Lush stuff too strong for me.

Not all of them are good, but I've been pleased to discover that most of their perfumes don't irritate me. It's strong chemicals which tend to set me off, which is why most of their products are OK, as the synthetics they use are quite restricted. Some of their products are well known to be good for eczema; little_miss_lost, who has MUCH more severe eczema than me, swears by Dream Cream for her skin, and IME it *is* good. I just don't get on with lavender, it's one of the few 'natural' scents which really sets me off sneezing.

Fairysnuff. I'm currently obsessed with Aveeno products which are made with oatmeal and as well as being awesome on dry skin make me smell like LOVELY TOAST.

I've just ordered some detergent-free shampoo and conditioner as well, as my scalp's been really bad lately and I suspect I'm sensitive to ammonium laureth sulphate and/or sodium laureth sulphate, which are the main detergents you get in bath products. I will report back on how they work.

Aveeno are v good. I use their body lotion for my dry legs.

Try Dr. Bronner's Pure Castile liquid soaps! They seem expensive but they last a VERY long time and they're good for all sorts of things, very versatile, very gentle. Seriously excellent. In this country they're mostly found in health food shops, though.

Honestly, I have great things to say about Dr Bronner's products. Well impressed.
