He pressed a kiss to the woman’s lips, so soft and yet so enticing that it made Elizabeth’s breath catch in her throat, and then stepped back with a sketched bow.

Such gorgeous imagery there. Lovely, lovely. My brain went immediately to the dress that Barbossa made Elizabeth wear in the first movie, which added a nice layer to this piece. Great job.

Thank you so much :D My brain melts a little when I think of how Jack might kiss - it sure looked good at the end of DMC ;)

Initially I hadn't thought about the Barbossa dress when I first started writing this piece, but I think it maybe works as a feint until we learn where the dress really came from ;)

This was a great read, kept me intrigued until the end, and after the end as well because I know the imagery this story put in my head will haunt me for the rest of day. Which is great! :)
