"A few years ago she would have bristled with feminist anger. Nowadays she just accepts that there are times when the team is going to treat her like the girl because she is the girl. Their girl." Love this bit!

So cute. So glad when she split up with him!

Well done and thanks for having Jack admit (if only to himself) that Pete was a good guy. I liked Pete and thought he was good for Sam.

Again, well done.

Thanks for reading! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I have a complicated relationship with Pete. The first time I watched "Chimera," the stalking bothered me and I couldn't figure out how the heck someone as smart as Sam a.) couldn't figure out that he'd had to follow her all day long to be able to crash the stake out, and b.) could be fine with it.

Now it doesn't really bother me. Pete let his curiosity get the best of him and Sam, bless her inquisitive little heart, knows what that's like. Also, she's stubborn and was probably more than just a tad determined to prove herself capable of having a life. :P

All that to say I've come to agree with you - Pete wasn't a bad guy and he was good for Sam.

End of pointless rambling.
