I'm checked into the hospital and have been meeting with a ton of nurses and doctors and such. It was really good to grt to finally meet my surgeon, Dr. Rosendahl, and to learn more about how it will all go. We're heading to the airport in 20 minutes. It's all pretty surreal; in just a couple days I'm having surgery.

I've been relatively fine up until last night, but now it's getting to me more, as expected.

This all bites, but it's almost over, and then things can continue and happen.

I'm about as ready as I can get at the moment for going to London now; I've purchased some necessary additions to my wardrobe, such as a hoodie with a zipper in the front and several button up shirts, as I might not be able to pull over t-shirts or my usual sweatshirts for a while due to the incision on my chest. I'm at the final stage of waiting now in regards to my surgery; the mesh has been ordered, now all that has to be done is finding out what date I can have the surgery. The engineer in England has now taken his sample of my CT scan, and is waiting on the deposit to begin manufacture. It looks like I will be over there in mid April for the surgery; I'll have more specifics once he starts manufacturing ( Read more... )
