So one of the things that the Stevens encourage in their book, The Power Path, is what I call self assessment. They present four areas to assess: natural talents, skills, experience and values. One of the things that I deeply value in my relationships with both Freyja and Freyr is that they meet me where I am, as I am. Personally, I am not comfortable with doing things in relation to Freyja and Freyr that feel out of date to me. I get that for some folks learning dead languages, how to use ancient weapons, wearing ancient style clothing, and having rituals that use ancient things like wagons is meaningful.
