Part 1

I want you
I woke up & one of us was crying
I want you
You said, 'young man I do believe you're dying'
I want you
If you need a second opinion as you seem to do these days
You can look in my eyes and you can count the ways

Incredible. You really captured that period for them, I love that despite all the mistrust and how broken they were, the Love was as strong as ever. They were so tender, even when they were mad, and I really felt for them. Also, that shower scene was so hot my head nearly exploded, but it was so much more than sex. Wonderful, wonderful story.

thank you! i love happy, hogwarts marauder fic as much as the next fangirl, but i think the depth and strength of their relationship really shines in the darker periods. thanks for reading!

see, this is the reason why I keep coming back to this fandom--because I hope to find stories just like this one. This is truly a gem. This story broke my heart because even though I know their undoing is inevitable, I wanted so badly to believe everything would end up okay. You are a very talented writer!

You really did capture that uncertainty of their relationship; all the things they didn't say and all the doubts about themselves, their relationship, their future. I loved the references to 'cracks' appearing even now, leading up to the inevitable collapse of everything they knew. Beautifully written, full of emotion - sometimes uneasy, sometimes simple - and an instant favourite.

"I think this whole era, the first war, has potential to be the most interesting think JKR has cooked up, and I'm glad she didn't write it herself, because I really love to see what people make of it. This was very intense and lovely and lonely and crazy and realistic, I think. Really, they break my heart."

THIS ^^^^^^^^^^

But I think I would replace "interesting" with "painful" because I can't not think about all the impending tragedy and despair...

haha, i think i'd replace it with "realistic," just because there had to have been so many forces acting on their lives, and they were barely even adults. thanks for stopping by!

Its good to see your back!
I love how you explore the pain and confusion they must have been experiencing. This is the part of the pairing that hurts the most to read but as said above what makes it so appealing, interesting and so emotionally deep.

Whenever I read fics like this I can't help but feel so sorry for Remus... I don't know why i'm always more sympathetic towards him than Sirius. Thanks for the post! It's always a pleasure to read your stuff.
