We have two more episodes to go on Boardwalk before the Season is over and trust me, after Sunday, things are definitely changing for everyone.
Especially Jimmy and Margaret.

There's something about Richard's mask, isn't it?

I managed to give myself a migraine by marking 24 papers so now I'm going to relax a little and watch episode 5 before going to bed. I have a few papers left but I will get up earlier tomorrow morning to finish that batch.

You know, I have really tried to make "Walking Dead" work for me. I've rationalized how the makeup effects lessen the more extras they have, that it's not real, focus on the characters, etc. etc.
The visuals just remain too triggery for me. Not sure that's the right word, but it all just makes me remember dead or cut open bodies, etc. Not that I've seen that many, but..during the intestine scene at the start, I went right to whether or not they looked healthy.

I can read zombie fic just fine. But this isn't going to be for me. Although I really like that they're expanding on Daryl and not making his redneck-ness one dimensional.

My motivation to catch up on Hell on Wheels is dropping like a zombie down a well. Durant should have stayed with Star Fleet, looks like.

To tell the truth I have never been a big fan of zombie films and gore, and I'm still surprised that I decided to watch The Walking Dead last year, but the pilot was great with a stunning photography and interesting themes. It seemed to be more about survival and the lines we cross (or not)in order to survive than about zombies.

Sadly, the writing has been lazy and the characters are just so stupid and insufferable that it's difficult to care about the story.

Compared to The Walking Dead and Hell on Wheels, Boardwalk Empire is a masterpiece!
