Just watched "Here Be Dragons".

Holy Frak! Not the best episode but it was gripping !

One episode left.. .:-(

It was uneven, there were things I like and thinks I dislike:

I didn't like the dragons (SyFy CGI *sigh*) but we got funny lines ("sweetheart we were negociating" /“How did you survive without me all these weeks?” ) and actually Sam must be glad that Amanda shot him out of the game.

The Gemenon scenes seemed phoned, and I would miss Diego if the show had more episodes ahead. Now Lacy got herself an army of cylons.

Speaking of characters I would miss....SERGE!!!!! No! How could they shoot Serge?!!! Fortunately daniel can fix him, I guess.

Clarice and her husbands breaking in the Graystone looked very convenient. It looked too easy. Nestor can't be that good!

As for deadly Grandma Adama saving Joseph. I loved it! Well, Chekhov wrote it, if you show a meat cleaver it must be used at some point!

I expected  Zoe to save her parents through that good old U-87 because it was obvious it would serve at some point, just like Grandma's skill with her meat cleaver, but I cheered when the robot got up and used its arm to get rid of Nestor.

The virtual house Daniel built for his virtual daughter called to my mind the house Boomer build for the Chief and their virtual daughter. I wasn't too hot on Zoe-A voicing "skin job" as if the audience were too stupid to make the connection but I guess it's like CYLON or toaster, someone had to say it out loud on Caprica so there's foreshadowing in the language...

From day one fans suspected that this William, given his age and his dark eyes, might not be our Bill Adama from BSG so the final twist makes sense. I don't expect Willie to be resuscitated in the finale.

It would also explain Evelyn being the admiral’s mother, the fact Bill never mentioned a sister, etc. It would explain Joseph becoming the man Romo Lampkin talked about, the man Lee remembered.

Once upon a time people used “to remake the dead” by giving a newborn the name of a dead. The Italian merchants were famous for doing so in the Middle Ages. Could be a Tauron thing too.

As for the model ships, I think the point was to show it was Evelyn who wanted Willie to be into it but he wasn’t interested. I bet she would teach her own son to like it though…
