And we can count on the supporting stupid characters for the humour (well, Terry is not stupid, he is...Terry, but the rest of them, Arlene, Andy, Hoyt, Jessica, Tara's mom, and Jason of course, live in Moron Town!). It was fun to see them all again. And Lafayette still rocks because he has more brains than everybody. Well, Pam is quite smart too, even though she wears a lot of pink.
I love that Pam wears pink. It puts paid to the the stereotype that girly blonds can't also be cunning badasses as well as the stereotype that vampires have to be broody, gothic, leather wearing fiends.
I love that both Pam and Eric consider typical vampire goth-wear to be their work uniform and that Pam is most comfortable in pastel sweater sets and Eric is most comfortable in jeans and a tank top.
I haven't seen all of last night's episode yet (I'm just at the part where one were-biker spits Bill's blood into the others mouth) and probably won't be able to see the rest until I get home from work this evening, but so far I love what I hear about the episode, although M/M doesn't do much for me so I'm assuming that Bill/Sam will leave me a little ... well cold isn't quite the word. Maybe disinterested is better. IMO, though, anything that keeps Bill away from Sookie can't be all bad.
I agree definitely fun. we'll get our thought provoking show back next month when Mad Men returns. In the mean time, MORE GIRL PORN!!! %^D
To be fair it is the idea of Bill/Sam that I liked more than the pairing itself(I think it's because Sam, despite his nice butt, lacks sex-appeal), if it that makes any sense.
Oh it makes perfect sense. He's adorable, but in a puppy-like way, not in a sexy way. I think they cast him very well since book Sam had the same attributes.

Bill is much more interesting when he isn't with Sookie. Please keep them apart!
I completely agree.
This show is just so much fun! And Lafayette is the smartest character on the show by far.
