Squalo was not so sure of what happened. He was smart enough to realize that he was in a hospital, badly injured, but why? He barely remembered that he hadn’t won his fight against the stupid student, but if he had lost as he recalled, he shouldn’t be alive. And certainly not here. He promised to fight and win, or lose and die. Not another choice.
"You’re finally awake."
Him. It was his fault, he could bet. His bloody pity made him think he had to save him. He didn’t need to be saved, he needed to be forgotten.
