Response to Formation Notes 7

Reflect prayerfully on
these quotations from our tradition. What do they say to you about St Francis
and prayer?

Read again the section
on Prayer in the Rule of the Third Order and the stories at the beginning of
this study.  Re-read what you wrote in
preparation for this study.

In light of the above,

In the fifth quotation, Francis urges any who
are upset for any reason to ‘immediately rise up to prayer, and [...] remain in
the presence of the Most High Father for as long as it takes for him to restore
you to the joy of salvation

Humm....I need to remember this one!

What a wonderful goal.....to spend a year in Taize! I am sure you will be enriched tremendously by the experience!

Thank you for continuing to share these with us!

I really like reading these. :) I'm not sure I have all that much to say on it, though.

And about the formatting: It has nothing to do with MS word. LJ downloaded a new posting feature for Rich text at the beginning of the week, but they screwed it up so they're currently working to resolve the issue. It's just another one of those site bugs which can explain why the formatting is not at its usual state. Like, with the extra space between paragraphs. I'm having the same problem.

Oh, wow, thank you. Since it was more Harry Potter stuff we had in common, I didn't think it would interest you all that much. I was actually trying to work out tagging in such a way that people could filter my post subjects.

Thanks for explaining the formatting to me. That makes sense. :)

I have other interests outside of Harry Potter. Up until the end of this year, I'll be done posting Harry Potter. It may only pop up occasionally. I'm drawn to things with deep thought. Society these days has forgotten how to think.

Likewise, regarding Harry Potter posts. They will crop up from time to time, but indeed there are other things to occupy the mind. Whether my thoughts resound with you or not, time will tell, but if you are content to have them appear on your friends feed, I am gratified. :)

I realized that it has been quite some time since I heard from you.....or got a notice that you had written in your Livejournal. Is everything OK? I miss you.

God bless!!

I am touched that you not only noticed my absence, but sought me. Thank you.

The reason for my prolonged absence, interestingly, was that I had a housemate. It is interesting that that took me from live journal, but I guess I was limited in some ways - when I was home, there was someone there who wanted to talk with me, watch movies with me, have dinner with me - and I am home so little as it is. I have been making notes of things I want to share on LJ, and I bookmarked your entries from your trip to Thailand (I still don't know all that happened there!) and so those pages have been constantly open on my firefox for so long, reminding me that I am yet to read them.

Things have definitely shifted. I am now so grateful to have my space back, whereas before I found the lonliness so oppressive. So, yes, I am ok. :) Busy, but better than ever.

I am glad to be back though. I missed you too. I am thrilled that you were around this evening when I posted. And it is so wonderful to find out what is happening for you, dear nun_sense. <3

I am glad you are back. I have missed you. What kind of work do you do that has you counting engines on planes in movies?

I'm a crossword compiler and proofreader. It requires a lot of fact-checking.
