I end up scaring myself, too! I slept with the TV on ALL NIGHT last night, and I kept walking around the house flipping on lights and making a lot of noise so my mom would keep waking up.

This morning, I told her why.

"Why didn't you just come in my room and wake me up?!" she asked.

"Because then I would have had to admit WHY I was waking you up and you would have made fun of me!"

"Well... yeah, I probably would have, but next time, wake me up anyway!"

Rabbits are similarly amusingly startled -- once I was sitting on the coffee table petting Trixie when my cell phone went off in my pocket and bang there she was on the other side of the room before she stopped to reassess the situation.
