Because of that, I am now cross-eyed and consequently, when I was reading someone's journal entry, I read "it tickled me pink" as "it tickled my pink

Ha. At first I didn't even realize that there was something different about your phrase. The bold type caught my eye and I thought, well, okay, that's cool. It wasn't till I read backwards that I realized it wasn't the original colloquialism.
