Had to come back and comment. This is my favorite part. When Sam thinks Dean wants him to " pay" his way it just broke my heart and in the morning when Dean is rejected by Sam and then learns how young he is was just * ouch * going right into mems
Ooh, thanks! I think this was my favorite part as well - and my favorite to write. :D Thanks for the kind words! I appreciate that you came back to comment!
I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this section. I was nervous as soon as I realized Dean was a trucker, but you played it out well. I don't know if you have a driver in your family or not, but my dad has been a driver for a long time, and it was nice to see driver's portrayed in a nice way for one. The one thing I would mention to you--is that it's Flying-J nor Jay. =)
But I was impressed with how you handled the black out curtains, the sleeper, the log books and the general feel of what it's like to be on the road (I've taken numerous trips with my dad).
Thank you! My grandma was a driver for a while, and I've listened to soooo many rants and stories from her. XD Never actually been on a trip, though. That must have been exciting.
Ahh! And thank you, I'll go back and change that. :D
Your grandma was a driver? That's awesome! Yeah, it was really awesome to go on trips with him. We live in central Canada, and I got to go on trips all over the US with him. In *one* trip once, We went from Manitoba, down to Florida, to California, to BC, then home to Manitoba. Was insane! <3
