George looked up from the overflowing beaker he'd been trying to contain just long enough to acknowledge Fred's arrival. Once the odd boiling had subsided and the contents of the beaker were no longer in danger of being spilled, he looked up at Fred again.
"Well about time you got up. At this right, I thought you'd be sleeping all day, wasting your time in bed," he chastised jokingly, sounding frighteningly like their mother.
George scratched the back of his head a little awkwardly dipping a stiring rod into the oozing liquid, which was still bubbling slightly, though it didn't seem to be hot.
"I'm not sure, actually," he said. "But it's been bubblin' like that for a while. It used to be green, though."

Laughing, he curled his left leg underneath him, regarding his brother.
