George looked up from the overflowing beaker he'd been trying to contain just long enough to acknowledge Fred's arrival. Once the odd boiling had subsided and the contents of the beaker were no longer in danger of being spilled, he looked up at Fred again.

"Well about time you got up. At this right, I thought you'd be sleeping all day, wasting your time in bed," he chastised jokingly, sounding frighteningly like their mother.

"You know how it is," Fred laughed with a shrug, leaning forward to sniff the beaker.

"Mate, what'd you put in that? It's damn awful."

Laughing, he curled his left leg underneath him, regarding his brother.

George scratched the back of his head a little awkwardly dipping a stiring rod into the oozing liquid, which was still bubbling slightly, though it didn't seem to be hot.

"I'm not sure, actually," he said. "But it's been bubblin' like that for a while. It used to be green, though."

He shook his head. "Leave it to you..." he mumbled with a smirk.

"I thought we were supposed to be making waterless ice?"

"Mmmmyeah," George answered slowly, "I got kinda distracted. Bubbles and colors are more fun," he shrugged, grinning at his own childishness.

Fred bit his lip, nodding and chuckling in agreement. "Touche. Toooouche."

He pulled his wand out. "But waterless ice. Right, let's get on that."

[george_r_us]

"Right," George nodded firmly, moving the bubbling beaker aside and pulling the glass of ice towards them. "Task at hand. Okay."

"Do you think there's some kind of spell for it?"

He scrunched his face, thinking back through the hazy memories of transfiguration and charms.

ooc: I've had 1 hour of sleep in the past...50ish hours. It's completely fair that I have no clue what I'm saying >.>

"You'd think that is there was, it would already be known and we wouldn't be trying to figure it out, would we?" he said, absently balancing this wand on the tip of his fingers.

"Good point," Fred made a face. "This's gonna be absolutely brill. They won't know what hit 'em!"

ooc: No! I'm not saying that at all, numpty. Just saying that you have no idea what Fred's going on about, do you?

"Ah, I can just picture it," George said, grinning widely. "All in their little fancy outfits, slippin' and slidin'."

He laughed at the thought of it, practically figdgeting with excitement.

ooc: Yeah...I didn't >.> But I do now!!

He laughed loudly, switching which leg he chose to sit on.

"Falling all over the place... oh man, this'll be one for the books."

Fred turned a little serious. "But how're we gonna do it?"

"Good question," George said solemnly, looking around at the several potions and ingredients that were sprawled out around them. "The basic idea of it isn't too complicated, it shouldn't be too hard to work something out."

"But we can't be obvious, that's the main thing," Fred scrunched his face up in thought. "...At first," he added with a smashing wink.

"Something cheap, easy, and quick. Kinda like you."

[george_r_us]

"Oh haha, very funny," George said, rolling his eyes at the cheap joke -though he had to admit he partially took it as a compliment.

He winked. "I think some kind of.. charm, maybe? I mean, we can turn water into ice with the tap of a wand," Fred indicated the solid ice cup sitting on the table. "So.. I'm sure we could do something similar, right? Only, without the water?"
