We certainly have two messed up boys in this one! Luke is obviously bottling up a hell of a lot of pain and self blame, while Noah is floundering… looking for something to hold on to.

As with all your fics you blend words so seamlessly, and clearly define the character motivations... so we’re right in the moment.

Beautiful night between two strangers who each needed a shoulder!

Oh my.. what a way to introduce us to these characters. this is so incredible sad. Luke and Noah each lost in their thoughts of just ""forgetting"" what they find is someone to lean onto and someone who is understanding without judging... so why Luke?? you threw away the one night where you felt actually something.. i guess Noah is not taking your absent very well... amazing start here!! thanks for writing<3 Annette

I think you hit it right on the nail. He felt something and that's not good in his mind right now. Hurts too much.

Oh our boys sure are broken and hurting at the start if this aren't they.

Glad they found each other that night in the bar and even happier that they didn't actually sleep together that night and just talked, offering each other a little solace even if it was only one night.
