[Scout's still out on the town. He's not afraid of the hazmats. Scout's doing what a Scout does. He's keeping an eye on everything. He's moving fast, never stopping for long. He's sticking strictly to the roofs and trees. He's got his shotgun in his hands the whole time. He's been doing this for days now, ever since the hazmats first showed

[There's a redhead sitting in a tree just outside of 1764 Beaver Street. She's taking aim at hazmats with a rifle.]

[He flags you down before jumping over near you. He knows better than to sneak up on a sniper.]

Hey. Anyone tell ya what happens when ya shoot those guys?

[Leliana deflects the aim of her rifle as he approaches, although she doesn't lower it.] Something about a gas?

I should be all right if shooting from a distance, and that if they're hit while using their flamethrower they should light on fire.

Yeah, exactly. But be careful. I been seein' tons 'a these guys. They multiply, I swear. If ya catch their attention, ya might get swarmed.

[Guess who else is darting about in trees and rooftops? Zevran! As it happens, he's on his way to Conrad's to fetch the man and bring him over to Zev's place for safekeeping. Even though they're both trying to stay in motion, he does pause long enough to address Scout.] Good to see you are still well, my friend.

[Today, even Zevran is serious.]

[So is Scout. What a rare sight.]

Yeah, same ta you. Fer now, right? Where ya headed? Or ya just keepin' an eye on things too?

A friend's house. He's no fighter, so I thought to bring him back to my place to watch over him better.

As for keeping an eye on things...this is hardly the sort of spectacle I wish to see any more of than I already have.

Yeah, well I ain't doin' it fer kicks. If anyone needs help, I at least know how ta handle these hazmat goons.

[If he looks ahead and up, he might spot a woman in what appears to be black Catholic nun robes, standing on a telephone pole some distance away. In each hand she's clutching three rapier-like swords, as her cold cyan eyes sweep the streets below.

They momentarily stop on him.]

[Well that's something you don't see every day, even in Mayfield. He gives you a little salute.]

[She nods back in recognition, makes the jump down from the pole with ease, and approaches.

The man was armed and didn't look completely inexperienced, but still - he looked tense, nervous and rushed. Not a good combination. Her tone is cool, but there's a faint chiding quality to it.]

Should you be out?

[Twitchy Scout is twitchy. It doesn't help he's been running of his dwindling supply of energy drinks to keep awake.]

Prob'ly not. But I ain't about ta let a buncha hazmats keep me down. Someone's gotta keep an eye on things.

What about you?

[April has managed to climb onto the roof of 915 Bilko Boulevard and she's watching the streets below, her sniper rifle in her hands.]

[He waves to you from a roof across the street, and then makes his way over. He knows better than to sneak up on people right now. Scout's looking pretty serious, much unlike his usual self. He talks quietly.]

Hey. Doin' alright?

[Scout gets a wave and a small smile in return. Like Scout, April wasn't her usual self, since she was also looking pretty serious, and when she speaks, her voice sounds almost flat.]

Hey. I'm fine, just...[She gives a soft sigh to herself, this whole situation was spiraling out of control and she wasn't sure how to deal with it.]

Yeah. Ya think this is bad? Ya don't know the half of it. [He frowns. In Mayfield is could always be worse.]

Make sure if ya shoot any, ya do it from a good distance. If they're like last time, they ain't human in there, they're full of poison gas.

But if they spot ya... I just keep seein' more 'n' more out here. We're pretty screwed at this rate.

The charred corpse would be hard to identify but the broken bottle of whiskey a few feet away might tip people off.
