[Scout's still out on the town. He's not afraid of the hazmats. Scout's doing what a Scout does. He's keeping an eye on everything. He's moving fast, never stopping for long. He's sticking strictly to the roofs and trees. He's got his shotgun in his hands the whole time. He's been doing this for days now, ever since the hazmats first showed

[April has managed to climb onto the roof of 915 Bilko Boulevard and she's watching the streets below, her sniper rifle in her hands.]

[He waves to you from a roof across the street, and then makes his way over. He knows better than to sneak up on people right now. Scout's looking pretty serious, much unlike his usual self. He talks quietly.]

Hey. Doin' alright?

[evers_hacker]

[Scout gets a wave and a small smile in return. Like Scout, April wasn't her usual self, since she was also looking pretty serious, and when she speaks, her voice sounds almost flat.]

Hey. I'm fine, just...[She gives a soft sigh to herself, this whole situation was spiraling out of control and she wasn't sure how to deal with it.]

Yeah. Ya think this is bad? Ya don't know the half of it. [He frowns. In Mayfield is could always be worse.]

Make sure if ya shoot any, ya do it from a good distance. If they're like last time, they ain't human in there, they're full of poison gas.

But if they spot ya... I just keep seein' more 'n' more out here. We're pretty screwed at this rate.

[She gives a quiet, slightly bitter laugh. Despite her uncertainty of the situation, it was a familiar one to her.] Would you believe that shit like this happens quite a lot where I'm from? Maybe that's why it's getting to me so much...

[Gives a nod.] I will.

[Scout's last statement gets silence from April but, although her expression shows nothing, her apprehension can be seen by her tightened grip on her rifle.]

Seriously? That sucks. Least yer armed for it.

[He sighs a bit as he surveys their area again.]

Whattaya think? Ya think anyone's gonna turn that guy in in time?

I'm...not sure. I mean, I can understand not wanting to surrender or condemn someone to a possibly painful death, but...to be honest, I'm kinda hoping someone will. [April gives a sigh as she hefts her rifle onto her shoulder, running a hand through her hair in agitation. Although she'd never admit it, she's actually scared of what will happen if he isn't turned in.]

I hate sayin' it too, but I don't think we got a lotta options. I wouldn't put it past 'em ta level this place like Westport just ta find him.
