Trouble with a capital T

The Papaya got in trouble in school. She had to apologize to the substitute teacher for being belligerent. The substitute teacher said she couldn't hang her breakfast waffle on her coat hook in her cubby, even though the Papaya said it was ART, for chrissakes.

I've only met her once, but reading a tidbit like this makes me so proud to be in her acquaintance.

Your kids are awesome. :)

My brother once got into trouble in the first grade because he tied his shoes together and proceeded to hang upside down from his desk. The teacher was so confounded that she simply called my mom (without asking him to stop). When asked why he had done such a thing, he replied "I wanted to know what it felt like to be a bat."
