well i mean, i know that 'maximum' doses vary depend on who you ask - and with my levels in normal range i guess i don't really need to push much harder. but i guess my concern is what will happen after a couple months of stopping progesterone, basically i don't want to lose any traction (and if i have to push a little more to ensure that, i'm ok with that).
I am glad that your hormone levels are basically where you want them to be. I have been working on that for over 6 months now with my doctor and is still a work in progress.
I think it really depends on what you and your doctor are comfortable with. My endo started me out pretty high on the estrogen and spiro. My test results have always been good and that encouraged him, especially since I had no real side effects. In fact during my last visit he upped me to 6mg (3mg twice a day), and still no side effects. I just need to get in and have my new tests run. If he isn't pushing you to change I probably wouldn't worry about it too much right now, see what three months will do for your levels and go from there.

For the record, I think I am going to jump to 6.

I don't know how helpful it has been, lab test wise, but I feel good on the 6mg.
