Wonderful guy, indeed. He really loves you. That makes me so happy, since I know what's happened in the past. Isn't it amazing when you have the person you've always wanted by your side?

Have you thought about a simple marriage in a city clerk's office with a party afterwards? That's how my parents did it. Dad wore jeans, Mom wore a nice dress, and they had an old friend as best man/witness. Then they threw a small party a few days later. That's how I wanted to do it if I'd been able to choose. It probably won't cost much, even in these days.

No, not exactly. Just sorry that I didn't stand up to my mother-in-law. Adam's mother took over almost everything, and didn't let me plan it the way I wanted. She said, to my face, "This wedding isn't for you, it's for my mother." Kind of hard for me to let that go, and I don't like holding grudges.
