I'm really not sure why, but I have an odd obsession with the show Lockup. I think its unhealthy. But I can't help myself. Every Friday and Saturday MSNBC has Lockup marathons and I am usually watching. Its just so fascinating to see how prisons have developed their own cultures, rules, and factions. Its such a foreign world.

House sitting this weekend. No screaming kids, no drunken aunts, no annoying little brother. So basically its a mini vacation for me. Kim has a ton of movies here that I have yet to watch, so I think I'll be watching some of them. And I would like to start reading the Uglies Series.

Today is like freaking Christmas. I get paid, and when I got home I got my package. I FINALLY have all for books of the Twilight Saga and The Stand: Uncut. Unfortunately The Host is still backordered, but I think these books will keep me occupied for a bit ( Read more... )

Got good news today: my grandma went in for a checkup, and her cancer is officially in remission. When I saw her on Sunday she was really nervous, and her relief was palpable when I talked to her.

I've wanted to read the Twilight series for a while now, and when I had heard the fourth book was coming out next month, I wanted to read them even more. I have been searching for a new series to read for a while, and this seemed perfect. So when I found the audiobook versions of all three I was excited.
