1. Courier comes to your house without ringing doorbell or calling your cellphone.
2. Courier forgets to leave a note.
3. Tracking number input on phone to customer service machine results in direct re-route to Operator - tracking number tracking apparently does not work on phone
4. Operator resides in the UK and does not want to deal with

In my experience, Fedex works pretty much the same way in the US as well. The only thing that sucks more than Fedex is USPS. Those guys don't even attempt to deliver stuff.
