I love the interaction process here, getting to know people and getting to vent. As you pointed out, a poster can vent knowing that if people have time, they will read, and probably comment because they care. In RL, it's much more difficult to find people willing to stop and listen.

*cackles* In lieu of Coming Out Day being yesterday, I will now out myself as your cousin on your LJ. Hi, folks, I read a lot.
LJ is the coolest blogging network in the blogosphere. For serious. User-friendly, easy customization, awesome people. I was on xanga for a bit back in high school, but the options they had were far too limited for me. I had major issues with the page formatting, friends-lock limits, and overall stalkability of the service.
