Holy CRAP! I can't believe that tomorrow is Friday already. This week literally flew by, It feels like last weekend just happened....

Spring is here and that's a good thing, but man oh man... the back yard is a mess. " Project Ice-Hole" is becomming man-made lake in the back yard... LOLs.

YAY on the new bikes! very cool!! i have to admit to being on the fence about training wheels...

yes, i know, i'm not a parent, but still... i never had them, my brother did. took him for-bloody-ever to be able to ride his bike because of them. i just hopped on mine and went... yeah, i fell a couple of times, but just got right back on and away i went.

can't remember if my girls had them or not... i think the oldest did... and like her father, it took her forever before she would let them come off.

then again, i also think it depends on the age of the child... so with your youngest, yes, i can see it.

and smart idea getting the warranty on them! *G*

as for the backyard... oooh, yikes, yes... that is the only drawback to the rink... all that melting. smart move breaking it up and carting it away...

I can't remember if I had training wheels or not... I don't think so but I can't remember.

Oh well, it if takes them longer to learn then so be it! LOLs

I must admit, the training wheels are partly a selfish thing on my part. I don't want to have to deal with all the scrapes and bruises...

Oh... you have no idea. We had beautiful weather both yesterday and today and the boys spent almost every minute of it outside on their bikes. We went out for dinner tonight and my oldest, Owen, nearly fell asleep at the table in the restaurant.

They both passed out cold in the car on the way home. I love that! I find that it's just so much nicer when you know your kids are completely played out from being outside all day instead of sitting in front of the TV.
