I voted early at the 69 W. Washington building and I only waited like 15 minutes.. but then again it was a Wednesday at 330 so I think most people are at work or just starting to go home...
I had a 45 minute wait, despite getting to my TINY polling place at 6AM. There were about 30 people in front of me, but it took forever because they only had 5 of those little voting booths available.
Oh wow! Not only is the polling place like a half-block from my house, I got right in and spoke to the reps. The only snag was that they didn't have me in the system... :-o So fortunately, I had updated my license to the correct address and I voted the full ballet, not just the Federal that they initially said I'd have to do.
Was in and out in about 30 minutes total, plus two of my neighbors were right there and we talked for a bit.
Apparently the 'gotta vote before work AND get to work on time' crowd had some lines. Those who didn't care or could get away with arriving a half-hour late like me were fine from various reports I've heard.
