Yeah it is very very good to be jobbed right now. I am appreciating the being jobbed when others are out of work and the economy is bad. Even better...I like my job :)

congrats honey

I'm happy too! Cookieopolis - city of cookies! WEll, I might not be up for that much baking, but three or four batches sounds about right. And banana bread. And cinnamon rolls. Mmmm.

It's s good to see the happys in your blog again sweetie! Enjoy your baking. I'm doing the same, with an ice storm pattering at the windows. The only question is, when will I get to work tomorrow? At least I can work in our Omaha office now instead of having to drive 60miles to Lincoln.

You gonna post pix of your cookies?

Maybe from the parties this weekend, or my mom's house.

And thanks! Have fun with your baking too. And absolutely do not drive 60 miles to Lincoln in an ice storm.

Hey, Jobbed One! I like your idea of setting the timer for 15 minutes and doing *something* productive. I should try it. I should get a timer.

I can't take credit - I totally stole that from the Flylady. I don't follow all her rules, and I haven't read all of her site, but I thought that was a good idea, too. And I just use the timer on the stove.
