Not a bad idea. Glad you managed to take some time and pan through your options. On a side note, you may actually get a better deal in the fall; largely because dealers are looking to move inventory to make space for new vehicles.

Not necessarily when you're purchasing a Scion. Those are done on pure pricing, which means the price on the sticker remains the same for everyone, and it only changes if you customize it (that is go to the Scion website and build the car to what you want). So no matter when I'm ready to go make my purchase, I know the price of the xD is going to be the same everytime unless I add something to it.

Sounds like a damn good plan, dude. But I am concerned about how much gas the truck uses. Is there any way you can catch the bus some days?

My dad's truck is a '90 Ford F-150 that runs off an I6 engine but still gets the same economy as a V8 engine. As much as I've driven it in the past, I'm used to the mileage, so I'm prepared for anything.
